for me, that first book that sparked it all was spilling open as well! i had been reading SARK's books that which really inspired me, but it was Sabrina's book that really opened my eyes (and i can barely believe that i'll get to take a workshop with her in the spring)!reading Christine Mason Miller's book Ordinary Sparkling Moments a year or so ago felt really reminiscent of that moment i found Spilling Open! if you haven't checked that one out yet, please do!
For me it was the Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. When we left on our year-long trip in 2001, I was hoping to explore whatever creative instincts I might have, but I had no idea what they were, having only been a teacher up to that point. My sister gave me that book before we left and it really changed my life! It was the first time I had ever even considered using the word "artist" in relation to myself. I did some of the exercises and started writing and taking photos and thinking about creating multi-media shows and, well, everything evolved from that point!I have since read a lot of books but not either of the 2 you mention so I will have to check them out. Can't wait to see what everyone else says. It's a great question!!! Thanks for asking!!!

I love you video darling! I'll definitely check out the book you recommended. My favorite books of all times are "The Little Prince and The Alchemist" I know they may not be about art, but they inspired me in a different way. Your pendant is so cute, I love Kelly's work!Have a sweet day muy dear!xoxoGiovannawww.bohomarket.blogspot.com
