marry me

Another inspiration from my sweet 6 year old. I am not sure about any other mothers out there...but my youngest can come out of left field with some of her comments and things she talks about! I am NEVER sure what may come out of her mouth. The other day as I was driving to pick up one of her sisters...she said to me "mom, I think I'm just going to be single. Do you know what single means??" And I said of course I do. She then continued with "I am just not sure I will ever be ready, be ready to get married." I smiled and laughed wondering why in the world she was even thinking about something of that nature in that particular moment! In asking her, she said "I don't know...my brain just thought that." LOL Gotta love kids!!

My sweet girl that says "marry me" was inspired by our conversation and my thoughts on marriage. I explained to my daughter to never settle and to marry someone that shows you the respect, dignity, loyalty and frienship you deserve. I tried in my own way to express to her to never settle. Of course, only time will tell...

  1. Kids do say the funniest things. I remember when my Brittany was in the car with me,Out of the blue she said "Didya know the edge of ya ear is soft like a babys skin?" I was like "Where did that come from?" She said she was playing with her ear and noticed it. lol
Kids are fun! Ya very welcome for the info on ya art hun. Let me tell ya this much NO ONE PERSON knows everything about art. Even the most seasoned artist learns something new now and then. The trick is to just keep moving forward and learn what we can. Ask questions no matter if ya think them to dumb to ask. I ask anything that comes to mind. lol
Wishing ya a Beautiful weekend! Big Hugs~

my most fond memory is when Jessica and her Dad were on the front porch ..it was a beautiful night with a big beautiful full moon, she was only 3 or 4 ...
I was inside the door listening as she said
