love is all around

she is my sweet reminder that "love is all around" - it is in the way my girls wrap their arms around me and pull me close, it is in a phone call from a friend to just say "hi", it is in my husband's eyes, it is in my son's willingness to learn, it is in a song, a good book, a whisper, a look across a room, a gentle touch, a smile. i could go on and on.....and on and on.... and on and on....anyone want to add to this short but sweet list?!?! what shows you the love that is all around??

i'm sending some out!!! xoxoxoxo

  1. A phone call from my Mum, just to chat,Hubby phoning in the day to say "I love you ",a hug from my 6ft 2" son, a cuddle from my 12 yr old, the cat settling down beside me.

  2. It's in my mom and dad's voice, in the coffee that my honey makes for me in the morning, it's in his smile, it's in my niece and nephew's laugh...there so many things, I think love is in simple things, in things that touch your heart and make you feel happy.
    Have a wonderful weekend!
Lots of love for you too♥

  4. Our dog running up every happy to see us, our kitty jumping up on our lap every time we sit down, butterflies on our zinnias outside, phone calls from family and friends, handmade postcards from a friend, in my sweet husband's smile...I could go on and on! What a wonderful post - you are spreading the love!! Love, Silke

  6. Wonderful post Kolleen! I just have to add this one I saw this morning...my 7 & 9 yr. olds in the backyard, standing still as scarecrows, arms outstreched with bird seed in hand, hoping the birds would land on them and have a little snack! The simplicity! Can't wait to see you in 22 days!
    loves,
